Davide is a queer artist born and raised in Italy, currently based in Berlin. He began his professional training in Naples at the C.R.D. Lyceum, graduating as a ballet dancer and performing with Balletto di Napoli, while also studying Fine Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti, specializing in set design. He later moved to Leeds, UK, where he completed a BPA at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating with First Class Honours, and undertook training in dance pedagogy in preparation for independent teaching. Since locating in Berlin, Davide has worked as a performer and creator with internationally renowned choreographers and directors, including Kirill Serebrennikov, Ivan Estegneev, Evgeny Kulagin, Romeo Castellucci, Emma Dante, and Candela Capitan, across theatre, opera, and contemporary performance contexts, while continuing to develop his own choreographic practice. His research often unfolds through site-specific and multidisciplinary formats, investigating identity, transformation, and liminal bodily states. His work sits at the intersection of rigorous physicality and visual sensitivity, with a strong emphasis on collective processes and experimental practices.
